EPSRC & SFI Centre for Doctoral Training in Transformative Pharmaceutical Technologies In Silico event 2023

Nottingham University was delighted to host the CDT In Silico event on 3-4^th of July 2023 at the Djanogly Arts Centre.  Insightful presentations from our CDT industry partners, AstraZeneca and Pfizer UK gave the students a good overview of how industry is currently using predicative modelling and other computing methods as well as insights into future trends within the industry.  Alistair Coupe, Associate Director at Pfizer UK gave his thoughts on a career in Pharma. The event was a chance for our final year students to give their thoughts and views on their PhD journey and give useful advice to later CDT cohorts.  Additionally, the event delivered introductory workshops to R, RStudio and Python.
