EPSRC Doctoral Prize Fellowships

Our CDT students/alumni have been successful in obtaining not one but two EPSRC Doctoral Prize Fellowships at UCL! Mary Strimaite (2018) has been awarded a fellowship for her project “In-vivo studies of layered rare-earth derived materials as theranostic sensors for multimodal medical imaging” to work with the Centre for Advanced Biomedical Engineering and UCL School of Pharmacy (SOP), while Ben Fielder (2019) has been awarded a fellowship at SOP for his project “Putting a pin in PEG – Understanding the protein corona on lipid nanoparticles with polyethylene glycol (PEG) alternatives for enhanced RNA delivery”.
