New Student-Led Seminar Series Gets Off to a Successful Start

The first seminar in the series took place on February 17th. Eight students from the School of Mathematical Sciences and the School of Pharmacy presented their research in three-minute presentations followed by 2 minutes of questioning from other students in attendance. The event was followed by a lively discussion over cake and coffee, kindly supplied by the Transformative Pharmaceutical Technologies Centre for Doctoral Training. The student-led seminar series is designed to provide a platform for postgraduate students to showcase their research to their peers and colleagues, and to foster an environment of collaboration and exchange.

The student-led seminar series is an important initiative for Schools across the University of Nottingham, and we look forward to seeing it grow and develop in the coming months. We thank the Transformative Pharmaceutical Technologies Centre for Doctoral Training for their support in making the first seminar a success.

The next seminar will allow the students to present software and computational technologies that the audience could find useful to apply to their own research and will take place on the 24th of March, 14:00-16:00 in B23 School of Physics.
