Science in the Park 2023

Five second year students from the CDT in Transformative Pharmaceutical Technologies set up at Nottingham's Science in the Park at Wollaton Hall on 11th March 2023, which aims to introduce children to a variety of different science and research areas. The day was spent "Making Medicines" to mimic how formulation is approached, and "Targeting Medicine" to demonstrate the difficulties in targeting specific diseases in science. Both tasks were designed to get the children actively participating, and this was met with enthusiasm and curiosity (from both the children and adults!). Thank you to everyone that helped this event take place!
