Quotient_Jan2025

PhD students from the Centre for Doctoral Training in Transformative Pharmaceutical Technologies were hosted by Quotient Sciences (14th Jan 2025) at their Nottingham site as part of the training module “Medicines in Biological Environments” led by Maria Marlow.

The visit was an exciting opportunity to share insights into how Quotient Sciences is speeding up drug development by integrating formulation development, clinical manufacture, and clinical testing to bring medicines to patients faster. The students had the opportunity to explore state-of-the-art pharmaceutical sciences and clinical facilities, engage with their team of experts and explore real-world applications of transformative pharmaceutical drug development.

The feedback from Quotient was “Their enthusiasm and curiosity were truly inspiring!”

The CDT would also like to thank academics, research staff, CDT alumni and post-graduate students from the school of pharmacy for their contributions to lectures and workshops on pharmacokinetics (Pavel Gershkovich), cell permeability models (Cynthia Bosquillon), RNA therapeutics (Catherine Jopling), material characterisation (Josh Jones, Magda Martinez, Ruslan Mohamed) and mass spectrometry (Rian Griffiths, Sandra Martinez Jarquin, Rakesh Jha, Nicola Starr and Jennifer Lu) and Graham Harrison (centre manager) for the organisation of the week.
